All situations in the hand of God.

Genesis 50:20 (Holman Christian Standard Bible)

You planned evil against me; God planned it for good to bring about the present result—the survival of many people.”

Joseph’s brothers were afraid. The were still broken by their treatment of Joseph. Joseph could have plotted revenge for his brother’s action. Yet, Joseph realized how God had used the situation to  save the children of Israel.

Nothing we do goes by unnoticed by God.(good and evil).  He saw what we would do before we were born.  He uses ALL our situations to accomplish His goals and most importantly, saving mankind.(John 3:16).  When the Jewish leaders plotted to do away with Jesus, they did not fully realize at the time, God had the situation under complete control.  God came to Earth as a sinless man to pay the penalty of our sins. Without him sacrificing himself on the cross, all humanity would be eternally separated from him.

Even when I backslide, God knew it would occur. He uses the weaknesses in my life. So when I do slip and fall in sin, he is there by the presence of his Spirit. I will be convicted of my sin and I will be restored.

2 Chronicles 30:9 (Holman Christian Standard Bible)

“…for when you return to the LORD, your brothers and your sons [will receive] mercy in the presence of their captors and will return to this land. For the LORD your God is gracious and merciful; He will not turn [His] face away from you if you return to Him.”

1 John 1:9 (Holman Christian Standard Bible)

If we confess our sins, He is faithful and righteous to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. “
